Main Departments That Make A Hotel - Departments in Hotel, List of Hotel Departments and Their Functions.

酒店的主要组成部门——酒店部门及其功能。


As an outsider when you look at a hotel, the operation appears to be pretty simple, selling of rooms and food and beverage services, etc. But, actually, the hotel is a highly complex operation where several departments function, coordinate and interact for a smooth day-to-day operations.

作为一个局外人,当你所看到的酒店运作似乎很简单——销售客房和提供餐饮等。但实际上,酒店运作非常复杂,需要各部门各司其职,相互协调互动,才能保证日常运作顺利。


In order to run the Hotel as a functional unit, there are several departments in a hotel which work and coordinate together and the major departments of the hotel are:

为了将酒店作为一个功能单元来运作,酒店有几个部门一起协调工作,主要部门有:


Front Office Department: This department performs various functions like reservation, reception, registration, room assignment, and settlement of bills of a resident guest and the front office department is considered as the nerve centre of a hotel.

前台办公室:该部门履行各种职能,如房间预定、人员接待、入住登记、房间分配和账单结算。该部门被认为酒店的神经中枢。


The front-office staff welcome the guests, carry their luggage, help them register, give them their room keys and mail, answer questions about the activities in the hotel and surrounding area, and finally check them out. In fact, the only direct contact most guests have with hotel employees, other than in the restaurants, is with members of the front-office staff.

前台工作人员负责招待客人,搬运行李,帮助他们登记,给他们房间钥匙和邮件,回答有关酒店和周边地区活动的问题,最后为他们办理退房手续。事实上,除了在餐厅之外,大多数客人与酒店员工的唯一直接接触是与前台工作人员。

Housekeeping Department: The housekeeping department is responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and aesthetic upkeep of rooms, public areas, back areas, and surroundings in a hotel and for the immaculate care and upkeep of all guest rooms and public spaces at all times.

客房部:房务部负责酒店的客房、公共区域、后方区域和周围环境的清洁、维护和美化保养,并随时对所有客房和公共空间进行清洁保养。


The staff members who excel in the Housekeeping Departments have an eye for detail and a commitment to the training, development and motivation of a diverse group of talented employees. It is the service and cleanliness that really make an impact on our guests and determine whether they will return and also recommend the hotel to others.

Food and Beverage Service Department: This department looks after the service of food and drinks to guests. The Food which is made in the Kitchen and Drinks prepared in the Bar to the Customers (Guest) at the Food & Beverage premises. 

餐饮部:该部门负责为客人提供食物和饮料。在厨房制作的食物和在酒吧准备的饮料,都是在餐饮场所提供给顾客的。

Kitchen or Food Production Department: All the food and beverages that are served to the hotel guest is prepared in the kitchen. Culinary preparation, as an art and science in the modern kitchen, required more than just a knowledge of food being prepared and the methods of preparation.

食品生产部:该部门负责准备提供给酒店客人的所有食物和饮料。烹饪是现代厨房的一门艺术和科学,需要的不只是对正在准备的食物和准备方法的了解。


It is through a knowledge of basic skills, terminology, and rules of the kitchen that a final goal, preparation and service of quality is achieved in the hotel kitchen.

正是通过对厨房的基本技能、术语和规则的了解,才能在酒店厨房实现最终的目标、准备和服务的质量。

Engineering and Maintenance Department: The engineering department is responsible for repairing and maintaining the plant and machinery, water treatment and distribution, boilers and water heating, sewage treatment, external and common area lighting, fountains and water features etc. Also, It looks after the maintenance of all the equipment, furniture and fixture installed in a hotel.

工程安装与维修部:该部门负责机械设备检修、用水处理分配、锅炉和水加热、污水处理、外部和公共区域照明、喷泉和水景等。此外,该部门还负责维护酒店所有安装设备、家具和装置。

Accounts and Credits Department: This department maintains all the financial transactions. Accounting departments typically handle a variety of important tasks. Such tasks often include invoicing customers, accounts receivable monitoring and collections, account reconciliations, payables processing, budgeting, periodic financial reporting as well as financial analysis.

财务部:该部门负责所有财务交易。会计部通常处理各种重要任务,包括向客户开具发票、应收账款监控和收款、账目核对、应付款处理、、预算编制、定期财务报告以及财务分析。


Also common are setting up adequate internal controls for all business processes (to prevent theft/misappropriation of assets), handling external audits and dealing with banks in order to obtain financing. Taxes are sometimes handled by accounting departments in house, but this work is often contracted to outside tax accountants.

同样常见的是为所有业务流程建立适当的内部控制(以防止盗窃/挪用资产),处理外部审计和与银行打交道,以获得融资。税收有时由会计部门内部处理,但这项工作往往承包给外部税务会计师。

Security Department: The security department of a hotel is responsible for the overall security of the hotel building, in-house guests, visitors, day users, and employees of the hotel, and also their belongings.

H R department: Human Resource department is responsible for the acquisition, utilisation, training, and development of the human resources of the hotel.

人力资源部:该部门负责酒店人力资源的获取、利用、培训和发展。


The role of the HR department also has to do with the administration of an impartial and internal justice system which will promote transparency and openness in organisational communication. The Human resources department also serves as a progressive voice in a common system and strives to ensure competitiveness in the conditions of service for staff.

人力资源部的作用还与公正的内部司法系统的管理有关,这将促进组织交流的透明度和公开性。该部门还作为一个共同系统中的进步声音,努力确保员工服务条件的竞争力。

Sales and Marketing Department: The major role of the sales and marketing department is to bring in business and also to increase the sales of the hotel’s products and services is the major task of the department.

市场营销部:该部门的主要作用是引进业务,同时增加酒店产品和服务的销售是该部门的主要任务。

Purchase Department: The purchase department is responsible for procuring the inventories of all the departments of a hotel.

采购部:该部门负责采购酒店各部门的货物。

Information Technology (IT) / Systems: The Information Technology department is responsible for the day-to-day support of all IT systems, business systems, office systems, computer networks, and telephony systems throughout the hotel/resort.

信息技术部:该部门负责对整个酒店/度假村的所有信息技术系统、业务系统、办公系统、计算机网络和电话系统进行日常支持。


Additionally responsible for Information Technology issues, products, and services at the property. Provides user training and support of all property/site systems, network enhancements, hardware and software support etc.

此外还负责物业的信息技术问题、产品和服务。提供所有物业/现场系统的用户培训和支持,网络增强,硬件和软件支持等。
